Use PowerPoint as Screen Recorder for Laptop.
PowerPoint is a powerful Microsoft program that comes with many helpful features, it is popular for creating slideshow presentations, Another feature of MS PowerPoint you may hear of for the first time is the screen recorder.
In this article, I will show you how to do high-quality recordings for your screen using only Microsoft PowerPoint.
Firstly open PowerPoint. Then Select Blanck Presentation.
1. Select Screen Recording on the Insert tab.
2. Select Area of the screen to record
On the control panel, choose Select Area.
Then drag the cursor to select the area of the screen you want to record. Also, PowerPoint automatically records the audio and the mouse movement, if you want to turn them off, deselect Audio and Record Pointer.
Click Record to start recording.
3. Use control panel
As the record is active, click Pause, or Stop when you’re done recording.
The control panel sometimes disappears after starting recording. However, you can reappear it by pointing mouse cursor at the top of the screen.
4. Save your screen recording as a separate file
After you stop recording, you’ll see the video on the slide.
Right-click on the video then select Save Media As.
choose the directory to save the video, then click Save.
Similarly, you can add the recording right into the presentation if you want. But we mainly focus on using Powerpoint as a screen recorder.
Now the recording is saved on your computer.
